As part of the Manger Gifts Service on Sunday, December 16th at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary, we will be collecting household items forpeople in the surrounding area. Most of the gifts will go to MICA (Mid Iowa Community Action) and ACCESS (the woman's shelter). This is a list of suggested items. Please wrap the gifts in recycled paper. Any monetary donations will go to Katherine Parker, our missionary in Cambodia.

This is the final Lenten reflection for Easter Sunday, connected with Rev. Scott Grotewold's sermon in the "I Am..." series. The theme for Easter Sunday is "I am the Risen One."

This is the Lenten reflection for week 5 of Lent. Because there was a Choir special on Sunday, with no specific I AM theme being used in worship, this is a bonus reflection around the theme, "New Life."

This is the Lenten reflection for week #4 of Lent. This Sunday's sermon is on the "I am the Way" scripture from John, with Rev. David Hobbs as our guest preacher.

This is the devotional for week three of Lent, "I am the good shepherd."

We hope you will use and enjoy this brief Lenten reflection alone or with your family. (It is in PDF format.) Young children can color the image and put it on the fridge; the rest of the reflection can be read to or by older children and youth. Adults may wish to keep a Lenten journal, share the devotional with a friend, or simply read and discus it wth a spouse or partner.

The scripture and theme will be the focus of Rev. Melissa Warren's sermon on Feb. 26th.
